Fun with programming

So I’m trying to learn C#, after clearing enough space on my tiny 30 GB hard drive to install Visual Studio 2005. I don’t really have the desire (or patience) to read tutorials, so I’m just converting one of my C++ programs (a 3D maze solver, if you must know) and Googling things as I go. This is rather tedious, owing to my excessive use of pointers (well, I suppose I could use pointers in C#) and the necessity of multidimensional arrays. I’ve also discovered that C# doesn’t support nested structs, which is sort of annoying, but not that big of a deal.

There’s no point to this post, if you were wondering.

One of the lessons of history is that nothing is often a good thing to do and always a clever thing to say.
