I still don’t feel like writing anything (aside from arguing with Wulfgar a bit), so here are my Final Four picks:
Duke
Gonzaga
UConn
BC
I’m not real sure about Duke and Gonzaga, but I always pick Duke to go pretty far and I like Gonzaga, so there they are. I decided not to rock the boat by picking UConn to win it all.
Well, the brackets are out and the real action starts on Thursday. My annual ritual is to not watch any college basketball throughout the season and fill out my brackets blindly. I always pick too many upsets, but for whatever reason I normally beat my parents at it. I’m don’t typically do too well in ESPN’s contest, which I’ve entered since 5th grade. The top 3,000 is the best I’ve done.
If only we could have held on to the shutout.
Still, Craig’s blog is going to look great this coming week.
UDPATE: So pretty.
Miami just scored 34 points in a game. What the hell? They even won. Maybe Saban’s on to something.
Or, the Broncos are just retarded.
UNC beats Illinois for the NCAA championship. That’s actually what I had in my bracket, too: UNC vs. Illinois and UNC winning 70-68. So, not too bad.
Illinois really couldn’t hit anything the last couple minutes, could they?
My bracket fared ok today, 12 out of the 16 games correct. I’m kicking myself for picking Alabama again in the second round, especially when I nearly picked Milwaukee.
And wasn’t UAB was supposed to suck?
Ray Allen informed us just a minute ago at the All Star Weekend contests that the NBA is working to “defeat the homeless.” We can only pray that the NBA will fend off their brutal shopping cart assaults.
…for the Oklahoma Sooners! You looked like complete jackasses and lost by the record breaking score of 55-19! Congratulations!
Only 7 hours and 41 minutes late!
I watched the Gator Bowl this morning (meaning I got up at 10:30 am, quite an accomplishment). The penalties I’ve ever seen in a game. Probably about half the refs’ fault and half the teams’ fault. But, Florida State won so I’m happy.
