Demographics
Just thought I’d look at some of the characteristics of visitors to this blog:
OS: 83% use some version of Windows, 57% XP. Best of the non-Windows: MacPPC with 9%.
Browser: 77% use IE, 63% 6.x. Best of the non-IE group: Firefox with 12%. Interestingly, Safari only gets 3%, while a Mac OS constituted 13% of visitors.
Time zone: Eastern leads with 34%, Central 29%, Mountain 13%, and Pacific 12%. After that, GMT has 3%.
I’m a bit disappointed with Firefox’s showing, but when the majority of your daily visits are from search engines, it’s expected, I guess.
