I had to post this
From a nutcase fundamentalist in David Neiwert’s In God’s Country, claiming a court used improper dating methods:
Whereas, returned papers contain the extraneous dates, October 25, 1995, 12/13/95, etc. etc., which terminology to Me, is confusing; for the reason, I reckon time in years of Our Lord Jesus, The Christ; and
Whereas, conflicting provisions of the peoples moral law forbids Me use of said foreign way of reckoning time; and
Therefore, returned papers contain scandalous matter all to My harm.
Now, therefore:
I am returning all of your papers, and shall, henceforth, exercise My Right of Avoidance; for the reason; they are irregular, unauthorized, misnomered, defective upon their face and utterly void, and are, herewith, abated as a public nuisance.
Huh. So is it the Gregorian Calendar he’s objecting to or is it that Jesus preferred the Hebrew Calendar? Or is it the missing Anno Domini that’s got his panties in a bunch? And why does he refer to Himself in capitals?
